Spiritual awakening lies at the heart of the mystical journey. This transference of energy from the master is described by the yogic texts as an initiation that activates an inner unfolding of awareness that leads to progressively higher states of consciousness. I envision in this painting a larger extension of energy from master to the student and out into the world sustaining and feeding its growing level of consciousness.
